Religious Education St John’s offers weekly classes for children from Kindergarten through grade eight. These classes are offered on Sunday morning and afternoon
at 10:30am and 1:15pm respectively in
the St. John School from September
through May. Registration for the
2007-2008 school year closed as of
August 31, 2007. Registrations for the
2008-2009 year will begin in the spring

Youth Program St. John’s Catholic Youth Group provides high school teens of the parish an opportunity to grow in their faith and understanding of what it means to be a Catholic and to lead a Catholic/Sacramental life as an adolescent.
Youth Group meets on Sunday and
Wednesday evenings at the Parish Center.

Adult Formation St John offers a number of opportunities for adults to deepen their understanding of Christian teaching and the Word of God.
- RCIA/RCIC
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a program for adults who are inquiring about the Catholic faith.
RCIA classes are offered each
Monday evening at 7:30 in St. John
School. RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) is a program for children that have reached the age of reason but who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism and/or Holy Communion and
Confirmation. RCIC classes are
offered each Sunday from
10:30-11:45am in St. John School
through the RE program.
- Scripture Study
Periodically throughout the year we offer Scripture study classes.
Beginning in mid-September
Thursday evening Scripture Study
will be on the Book of Job. The
study group meets from 7:30-8:30pm
in the St. John School Library.
Classes are informal and drop-ins
are welcome. Additional
information is published as
needed in the Bulletin.
- Marriage Preparation
Contact the parish office at least six months before the wedding.
- Parent’s Baptismal Preparation
A class for new parents who have not previously had a child baptized at St.
John. Classes are offered on the
first Saturday and second
Wednesday of each month. To
schedule a Baptism and/or class,

- Ministry of Moms Sharing (M.O.M.S.)
The Ministry of Moms Sharing (M.O.M.S.) group offers occasional spiritual/adult education
activities as well as play days,
MOMS Night Out and other events.
The MOMS group also sponsors
periodic Red Cross Blood
Drives.
Traditions of Roman Catholic Homes St. John the Evangelist’s Chapter of T.O.R.C.H. provides a support group for home schooling families to encourage
learning in a faith-filled environment.
