Mr. Noakes hails from Ontario, Canada, and has for the past ten years been the Principal Organist and Choirmaster for the semi-professional choir of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Ontario.  The ten years prior to that he was the Music Director and Principal Organist at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  In all, he has over thirty years experience in the several roles of Music Director, Teacher, Academic Head, Assistant Principal of an Academy of Music, Conductor of a Chamber Orchestra, and, of course, creating, instructing, training, developing and conducting children’s and adult’s choirs at every level.  His undergraduate degree in Music is from the University of Toronto.  He has done graduate work for a Masters at the University of Western Ontario, and Doctoral studies at the University of Michigan.  He is a member in good standing of numerous professional associations, and has a repertoire of musical productions and accomplishments under his belt.
