Adult Formation

Father John H. Melmer Adult education or formation is at the very core of who we are as a Church. To further the work of the Church, which is evangelization, ongoing formation in Christian teaching and the Word of God is essential. It must become the axis around which all other forms of education and catechesis take place.

The primary form of adult education at St. John’s is the Sunday Liturgy. In addition, we have the Parents’ Baptismal Preparation, Adult Inquiry, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, Scripture Study, the Ministry of Mothers Sharing (M.O.M.S) and various periodic opportunities for spiritual development. We are always looking for new ideas to help us implement this crucial area of formation. To help in this area, please contact Fr. Melmer.
