St. John Preschool is a nonprofit preschool operated by St. John School and is accredited by the VCEA. The program is aimed at promoting each child’s spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical and social growth. Our curriculum is planned to enhance the total development of the child and is organized in a sequential manner that follows a theme or unit.

Our aim is to make each learning activity fun and game-like, developmentally appropriate, challenging but not frustrating and a multi-sensory experience. We encourage activity. The children of St. John Preschool are exposed to many concepts and encouraged in creativity.

The focus of our Preschool program is to provide learning activities through play. The focus of the Pre-Kindergarten program is exposure to knowledge and social skills that make the adjustment easy for the child to progress and adapt to kindergarten.
