Women of St. John meet on the third Friday of each month at 9am in
the Knights Room of Mercy Hall. Our purpose is to help the parish
in any way we can. We make baptismal bibs, run a Lenten soup
supper, clean the votive candle holders, collect sundries and
infant items for charity, make and collect mittens and hats for
school children, make banners for the RCIA candidates, sewing kits
for the mission in Banica. We have an annual day of recollection
and go on an outing each spring. Each June we recognize two Youth
Group members with a cash award. All women of the parish are
welcome and encouraged to join us! |
